A book written by a fame hungry liar
first hand account on...............here's the juicy stuff........
Mrs. Oliver not only knew Jack Ruby, (she worked for him), but she also claims that Ruby knew Oswald. Beverely comes out in the movie JFK. she is interviewed and then says she won't testify. in real life, she didn't speak with Garrison, but she did know Ruby and Oswald.
Beverely Oliver, aka The Babushka Lady, was present in Dealey Plaza the day JFK was shot. we know this throught over dozens and dozens of photos taken that day. in the photos taken that day, one of which is the front cover of the book, shows her taking film of the JFK assassination. a couple of days after the killing, the film was taken by an FBI man. she identified that man as FBI Agent Reggis Kennedy, who denied it.
Thirdly, and most importantly is that she knows who killed JFK, and it wasn't Oswald. i want to say, but i can't. read this book.
she says exaclty who killed JFK and who the shooter was, because she knew him, and he knew her.
good luck.
good book.
a good book. basically, a first hand interview.....she came out in the movie JFK. the girl at the Carousel Club. but anyway, Mrs. Oliver's book is very interesting. She talks about...........okay, i don't want to ruin the book for you. go and check it out in the Library or buy it. you won't be dissapointed.

Follow-up To My Review Of September 15, 2001.Unfortunately the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned consumers last year to cease taking PC SPES because it contained undeclared prescription drug ingredients. The manufacturer of the product has since gone out of business.
Although THE PROSTATE MIRACLE includes much useful information, the apparent demise of PC SPES seems to greatly diminish the usefulness of this book.
Almost Too Much InformationStoff writes from the perspective of one who personally treats prostate cancer patients in his medical practice. If this book has a weakness, it is that the reader is given so much information it may lead to some confusion.
The Prostate Miracle should be the Prostate Cancer CureI have been in the nutrition industry for 10 years now and am the Wellness Director and Nutriceutical Specialist for The Institute of Anti-Aging and Longevity, and this is the first time I have read a book that lists a balance of therapies, not a magic bullet, that will help the body heal itself if given the right nutrients and the elimination of stress and toxins. I am happy to see the the emphasis of PC SPES and AIDBCWE (or AiE10) as part of the therapy for prostate cancer. These little known substances have shown great promise in the treatment of cancer. We offer the AIDBCWE/AiE10 from Body Wise as mentioned in the book, and it definitely increases the activity of Natural Killer Cells designed to take out malignant cells.
The other unique thing about the book is that Dr. Stoff lists all the sources of where to get products and the laboratories he uses for diagnostics. This is a valuable asset.
My favorite Chapters are 6 and 7 because it relates to how the body can heal itself if the immune system is intact. Dr. Stoff's motto, "Learn how to get well and stay well" is what this book is all about. I highly recommend this book, his therapies and becoming a patient of Dr. Stoff if necessary. Dr. Stoff is one of God's miracles on the planet in helping people become well.
We host lectures with Dr. Stoff with our institution on a regular basis, if anyone would like to attend a live lecture or live educational conference call with Dr. Jesse Stoff, just email me.

This would make a great movie!
The Devil is in the DetailsI truly look forward to learning more about Danny Cavanaugh and seeing more of Mark's writing.
Twists and Turns

Sammy: Dallas Detective-- Back CoverThrough Marni's unrelenting love and passionate prayers, the God he has always ignored steps in to save Sammy's life. Redeemed, the aggressive detective tries his best to walk upright in the modern Babylon of Dallas, Texas."
This story starts out wonderfully, with a can't bear to put it down plot. However, halfway through the book, Miss Hardy loses it. The story becomes routine and boring and the ending is almost too much for even fiction. Overall, a good book, but Miss Hardy has done better.
Over the top, but fun
Charismatic Cop v. Stubborn SaviorSammy's pre-, conversion, and post-conversion experiences are wrought with the realism of modern-day spiritual warfare in the midst of a world with its eyes closed and a church that is sometimes blinded. However, Mrs. Hardy unceasingly points to the goodness of God's plan throughout Sammy: Dallas Detective, Sammy: Women Troubles, and the other uproarious sequels.
Once again, Mrs. Hardy does not disappoint as she launches into a modern-day setting with her consistently inspired stories. If only the VIP cover did the book more justice....

Fuel for the Fire
Primary Evidence - The Best Kind?

More like a long magazine article than a bookOverall it is a pretty good read and informative, but I found myself making an effort to finish it rather than having to make an effort to put it down. Dent's book about the Junction boys and Bear Bryant is a much better effort and one that was written at a better time - afterwards rather than during the story. That one was hard to put down.
Great book - I am in it!!

Better than average, but more average than good
New and ImprovedI have attended many classes and camps with the Ninjutsu Meiyo-Kai under Shidoshi Bryce Dallas and he is a very intelligent man with great knowledge of the martial arts and great skill to acompany it. There are many Black Belts with his style, located in different states in the North American area; all of which possess good skills and personable character. Throughout my training with Konigun Ninjutsu I have always felt at home and treated fairly. I trained with Shidoshi Dallas in Clinton and Byram MS and I never recall him just teaching close friends or relatives. He rarely hung out with but a few of his black belts but yes we did train outside from time to time. In his history he has been known to open schools and then close them a few months later to determine who the serious students were so he would know who to devote time to. Im sorry the person who left a review did not stick around long enough find this out.
I love the book, especially the revised edition and I hope you will give it a try.

Lost and Found
I wish they had also made an unabridged audio recording!

AverageActually this is a very interesting plot. The author also manages to keep the tension through the whole book. Piece by piece he reveals more and more what the tape is about till the end of the book. The only problem is that there are far too many characters. I often had to turn back the pages to see who is who. The writer is very well informed on the topic and tries to reveal all different aspects but unfortunatly this leeds to all different shapes of characters. From "bad" gays to "good" gays over "don't want to be" and former gays. Same with the Christians in the book. There are "good" and "bad" ones and all different sorts inbetween. At the end when a racist group of children and grandchildren of former Ku-Klux-Klan members (in this group they are all "bad") appears on the scene it's too much. So the story is good and if you are interested in the topic you will find new aspects to think about. The end is surprising (almost too surprising) but too many and all sorts of characters aren't helpfull. I've red better and I've red worse books. I don't regret spending time on reading it but I won't read it again.
A Page Turner

A MAELSTROM OF DECEITThe interesting part of the whole story is how the culprit leads two different and distinct lives for a period of time and then how his personality begins disintegrating toward the end and the ruse used to get a confession out. The major victim is given a roller coaster ride that is heartbreaking.
A compelling story
She cannot support any of her contentions about being a witness and her book is just an example of the two adages- "A fool and his money are soon parted" (this is you if you buy this piece of tripe), and "There is a sucker born every minute."
Beverly Oliver waited over ten years to spring her preposterous story on the public and the thing is so shot full of holes that you could sail a ship through some of them. Save your money!
